Choose Wisely – Listener Poll for April’s Fools

choose wisely

Hey all! You know how we always said that we wouldn’t be covering any comedies on this podcast? Well…after much whining from parties who shall remain unnamed (Furlap), we’re willing to reconsider. And what better than to turn it into a LISTENER POLL!!

Yep, if you look off to the right, you’ll find a complete list of some crappy (and also amazing) comedies that are streaming on Netflix as of RIGHT NOW! And, if you want us to watch them for April, we will take the top 4 movies from the poll and do just that!

We’re calling it APRIL’S FOOLS, and we swear it is totally not an April Fools joke! We will really cover four of the comedies listed to the right. So, choose your top 4 carefully (you can check up to four before hitting the submit button), and be sure to subscribe to the podcast for when we cover them in April!

Thanks, The Schlock Jocks

PS- Feel free to lobby your fellow voters for the film of your choice in the comments section below.

  1. Wait a minute… I clicked on this and yet there’s no show?! Schlock teasers! Stop block in’ my schlock!

  2. I’m glad to see UHF is not making it because frankly UHF was awesome. All you guys would be doing the entire movie is quoting the funny parts. “This is a good watermelon. (pause) Tastes like poop.” “The people mean as much to me as a festering bowl of dog snot.” “YOU GET TO DRINK FROM THE FIRE HOSE!!!” I think the reason Matt MarkDonald prefers not to do comedy is because there’s a danger in just repeating stuff guys actually said, which isn’t funny (also, bad horror isn’t scary but it can be funny, but bad comedy by definition isn’t funny).

I’m also glad to see that Teen Wolf isn’t making it because that will still allow you to do Teen Wolf Month of Teen Wolf. I had totally forgotten that MTV did a remake of that crap. Still, you should ignore it in favor of Twilight. Okay, if not Twilight, then watch Turbo Teen. Turbo Teen has to be available somewhere, right? It’s very, very similar in concept to Teen Wolf, only instead of turning into a wolf during a full moon, Turbo Teen turns into a car when he gets hot. Like Teen Wolf, it’s very realistic, way more realistic than any movie Hollyweird deigns to make nowadays.
